    Covington

    Covington is a city in and the parish seat of St. Tammany Parish, Louisiana, United States. The population was 11,564 at the 2020 United States census. It is located at a fork of the Bogue Falaya and the Tchefuncte River. Covington is part of the Slidell-Mandeville-Covington statistical area.

    Mandeville

    The city of Mandeville was founded in 1834 by Bernard Xavier de Marigny de Mandeville (1785–1868). The Marigny family was a prominent family of Louisiana, owning nearly a third of the city of New Orleans. It became a popular summer destination for well-to-do New Orleanians wishing to escape the city's heat.

    Madisonville

    Madisonville was founded by Jean Baptiste Baham as Coquille or Cokie in 1800 before the United States acquired the area, at the site of the Native American village of "Chiconte". The town was renamed Madisonville in honour of American president James Madison in 1811.

    Slidell

    Slidell, a city on the northeast shore of Lake Pontchartrain in St. Tammany Parish, Louisiana, United States. The population was 28,781 at the 2020 census,making it the sixteenth-most populous city in Louisiana.It is part of the New Orleans metropolitan statistical area.

    Hammond

    The city is named for Peter Hammond , the surname anglicized from Peter av Hammerdal (Peter of Hammerdal) — a Swedish immigrant who first settled the area around 1818. Peter, a sailor, had been briefly imprisoned by the British at Dartmoor Prison during the Napoleonic Wars. He escaped during a prison riot, made his way back to sea, and later on arrived in New Orleans.

    New Orleans

    New Orleans(commonly known as NOLA or The Big Easy among other nicknames) is a consolidated city-parish located along the Mississippi River in the U.S. state of Louisiana. With a population of 383,997 at the 2020 census, it is the most populous city in Louisiana and the French Louisiana region, the second-most populous in the Deep South, and the twelfth-most populous in the Southeastern United States

    Gulfport

    Gulfport is a city located in Harrison County, Mississippi, where it serves as a co-county seat. According to the 2020 census, the city has a population of 72,926, ranking it as the second-largest city in Mississippi after Jackson. The Gulfport–Biloxi metropolitan area has a population of 416,259. Situated along the Gulf Coast in southern Mississippi, Gulfport is named for its port on the Gulf Coast along the Mississippi Sound.

    Bay St Louis

    Bay St. Louis is a city in Hancock County, Mississippi, serving as the county seat. Situated on the Gulf Coast along the western side of the Bay of St. Louis, it forms part of the Gulfport-Biloxi metropolitan area. The population increased slightly from 9,260 in the 2010 census to 9,284 in the 2020 census.

    Biloxi

    Biloxi is a city located in Harrison County, Mississippi, United States. Situated on the Gulf Coast in southern Mississippi, it shares its western border with the city of Gulfport. According to the 2020 census, Biloxi has a population of 49,449, making it the fourth-largest city in the state. The city's beachfront faces the Mississippi Sound, with several barrier islands extending off the coast into the Gulf of Mexico. Within Biloxi is Keesler Air Force Base, which hosts the 81st Training Wing and the 403rd Wing of the U.S. Air Force Reserve.
